City Pays Tribute To The Man Who Wrote The Constitution Of India As Ambedkar Jayanti Celebrated In Navi Mumbai

Ambedkar Jayanthi was celebrated in the city with enthusiasm. We pay tribute to the late Bharat Ratna Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar with this report.
Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik and MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik were present to light the torch of peace at Vashi that was taken in a race rally till Dadar. The event was organised by Loknete Ganesh Naik Pratishthan, Mumbai. During the event the president for this association spoke to the media. Thane MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik spoke on the importance of the day.
The residents from round the city remembered the great leader, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar on his 119th birth anniversary. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar had fought for the welfare of the people in Mahad. Today in his memory the youth of Mahad and Turbhe got together and came all the way from Mahad till Turbhe with a lighting torch spread the message of peace. The President of the Shantidut Charitable trust Somnath Mane spoke on the day celebrations.
On the day, the Maharashtra State Electricity Board also organized a Buddha Vandana in MSEDC colony in Vashi. We spoke with Dilip Gaikwad, founder of Indrabai Charitable Trust who said that if one follows the ideology of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, a progressive change can be seen in the society.
